Dreher Breweries is expanding its offering with two new products

Dreher Session IPA, with its characterful, hop forward flavor profile, and Dreher Citrus, a fruity flavored beer featuring pleasantly tart, citrusy freshness. With the launch of these new variants, Dreher further strengthens its presence in both the characterful beer segment and the flavored alcoholic beer category.

Global beer industry trends continue to be shaped by the growing demand for higher quality beers - a shift that is becoming increasingly visible in Hungary as well. The development of the local beer culture is driven simultaneously by premium beers and variants representing more distinctive styles. For many years, Dreher Breweries has built its brands on a balance of tradition and innovation, while continuously monitoring evolving consumer needs. In recent years, consumers have become more open to experimenting with new flavors and beer types: IPA style beers enjoy a loyal fan base, and flavored alcoholic beers are also attracting increasing interest. Within this segment, citrus flavors are among the best known and most popular choices, particularly favored by consumers.

Dreher’s latest variants reflect these trends. Dreher Session IPA is a characterfully hoppy beer with tropical notes, representing a lighter, less full bodied interpretation of the IPA style. The new product, with an alcohol content of 5%, will be available in three formats - 0.5L can, 0.5L bottle, and 30L KEG - targeting consumers who seek bolder flavor profiles.

By contrast, Dreher Citrus is a citrus flavored beer defined by a mildly tart character. With an alcohol content of 4%, it will be available in 0.5L cans and bottles, offering an alternative for those looking for a refreshing, fruity flavored beer.

The launch of the two new products will be supported by a joint communication campaign built around the theme of toasting, highlighting the social aspect of enjoying beer together. The campaign is rooted in the insight that although our tastes may differ, the experience of drinking beer brings us together - and we raise a glass to life’s positive moments as one.
